gps golf yardage Thoughts? Concerns? Advice? for my golf swing?
Background: I am 22 and have played about 60 rounds over the past 2-3 years since taking up the game (college hindered time and money to play). Rough handicap as of this year ~15 One lesson so far - helped eliminate the massive over swing and some of the down and up movement I had/have. My bag consists of Nike 5900, Pinemeadow 2H, MP-58 (3-pw), Pinemeadow 52*, MP 56*, Odyssey White Hot #1 Yardages: Driver- 275-300yds (gps checked...and yes I will undoubtedly hit one per round only 100 haha), 8i-155

I will try to get a swing video from behind me as well. But I appreciate the comments thus far. I never noticed my follow through being too short, I will do some tinkering with that.
Its hard to tell without an angle from behind, so I can't see what plane your taking it on. Could you post a video with an angle from behind you? It would be nice so I can see if you have it on the right plane.
As for the front view, your swing is ideal. You don't over swing, and you come through at the perfect angle.
My only suggestion is, when you come through, do a fuller finish. You have this sort of half finish that the pros have. Its okay for them, but amateurs benefit more from a full finish. But, if you find that this doesn't work for you, don't implement it.
There's nothing wrong with your swing, I'm a scratch and you swing better that I do.
To get better though, you probably need to play more than 20 rounds a year. I play everyday and if I take a day off, its hard for me to stay a scratch.

I'm getting married in a couple months, and I want to buy my 5 groomsmen a fun gadget, preferably nothing over $100. I'd be willing to land in the $150 neighborhood, but only if it's super awesome. Some ideas that I've had that aren't great are a 15" HDTV (too expensive @ $200), golf GPS units (not good for everybody) or a PSP/DSi (we're 30...). We're into sports, techie stuff, and beer. I'd love some suggestions. We all like different sports teams, and we're all recently married (except 1 guy...)
