Personal Gps
Detect GPS device installed in the car ?
I have a suspicion that my employer is tracking me with GPS device installed in my personal car which is not legal to do so. And I couldn't figure out. Could some one guide me how to find such a device installed in the car?
Spectrum Analyzer and a 3GHz freq counter.
If he is tracking you, he has to have some way to receive the data from the GPS. A frequency counter could, by its self, MAY work, unless the burst data is short, but a spectrum analyzer will sample and hold the data.

Personal GPS tracker for Alzheimers wandering
Do you know of any GPS theft from a car where the suction cup was the only clue to tip off thieves?
That is, do you know where a thief has broken into a car where they've only seen the GPS mount on the windshield, or have seen the ring left behind by the mount? It seems to me they would only break in, mostly, when they see the actual GPS, and I'm wondering if anyone, BY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, has had their car broken into when they've only had a suction mount visible. Please share.
