Portable Gps
I am planning on purchasing a portable GPS system for my husband on his birthday, and have absolutely NO?
knowledge whatsoever about GPS systems, I thought I would ask my buddies at Yahoo Answers their opinions. Please let me know your thoughts from all perspectives: ease of use, portability , and cost, too. I always wonder if salesreps are just trying to sell me the most expensive model or, for that matter, one that they are trying to get rid of!! Thanks, in advance!
I have a Garmin. When you shop make sure you pick a unit that has "text to speech". What this means is the unit will say "take a left on Henderson Drive" as opposed to units without this feature which will say "take a left".
