Laser Rangefinder Husband is an avid bow hunter.. Need advice?
I bought a gift for my husband for his birthday. He bow hunts, and I bought a Leupold Vendetta Mounted Bow Laser Rangefinder. Is this something that will be valuable to him while hunting. The damn thing cost three hundred dollars and I want to make sure it will be useful to him. Any opinions on this item?

If a bow hunter misjudges the distance by as little as 5 yards, that will translate into a miss at the 30 plus yardage range. So if the bow hunter knows precisely the distance he is shooting, he will make a killing shot on the deer.
Most misses are caused by the bow hunter not judging the distance to his target correctly.
